Jodoji

Chu ENOKI

Chu ENOKI is famous as an eccentric performer. He traveled to Hungary with half hair shaved from the top to the bottom. He worked in a company producing different metal parts. At Jodoji he shows an installation of the metal parts he created for art works, which looks like a futuristic city or pagodas, and may look mechanical or spiritual at the same time.

yumenemi gallery

These are the photos taken by Japanese photographers of ‘70-’80; Kozo MIYOSHI, Michiko KON, Issei SUDA and Ikko NARAHARA. They struggled to identify how the photos should be and so forth. The photos shown here are the vestiges of their challenges and struggle towards still-lives, landscapes, human figures and others.

Motoi YAMAMOTO

I’ve not create a new work for a year. The new one “Ruri no Ryu; Dragon of Lapis lazuli” is drawn by salt which I’ve used for 20 years over.
I started making artworks for meeting memories with my younger sister in 1994, she dead. At that time, she was 24years old.
My wife also dead In Autumn 2016, we’d been together for 25 years and had a daughter who was 4 years old. Both of them suffered from a serious illness that it was too difficult to treat. During her alive, she said “I’m going to go beyond the blue sky after my death.” I and my daughter told about this story at the night she breathed her last.
This installation “Ruri no Ryu; Dragon of Lapis lazuli” composed by salt is a message for my late wife, we’re in love.

Tatsumi ORIMOTO

VIDEO ART - Tatsumi Orimoto

I did Performance-Art for long years.
Animal Art, BREADMAN, Grandmothers-Lunch, Art Mama and BIG SHOES…etc. Not everyone in the world can come to see it.
That’s why I always write letters and send leaflets to you for letting you know my performances. I’d like that you watch a video of my works, because performance is moving.
I’ll show you many things I did.
So recently, “VIDEO-ART” is interesting for me.
